孝經
》云：「故雖天子，必有尊也，言有父也。」王者必父事三老以示天下，所以明有孝也。無父猶設三老之禮，況其存者乎！孝莫大於嚴父，故后稷配天，尊之至也。禹不先鯀，湯不先契，文王不先不窋。古之道，子尊不加於父母，家令之言，於是過矣。
