七言詩位於銅鏡外區，共十句，計七十字，其內容詳記昭君故事：
漢召單于匈奴臣，
名王歸義四夷民，
兵革不用中國安。
孟春正月更元年，
胡王陛見賜貴人。
後宮列女王昭君，
隱匿不見坐家貧，
待詔未見有天伸。
長䟔受詔應最先，
倍去中國事胡人。
銅鏡鈕座爲十三枚乳釘環繞，間以銘文十二字，爲製作者名稱及吉語：
仲作宜侯王，服此鏡者大富昌。
鏡四乳之間分布四區畫像，每區均有榜題，銘文分別爲：

大皇后
胡王車
胡主簿
