顧聞丘林中，噭噭有悲啼。
借問啼者誰，『何為乃如斯？』『親母舍我沒，後母憎孤兒。饑寒無衣食，舉動鞭捶施。骨消肌肉盡，體若枯樹皮。藏我空室中，父還不能知。上冢察故處，存亡永別離。親母何可見？淚下聲正嘶。棄我於此間，窮厄豈有貲。』傳告後代人，以此為明規。
