魏略太史上漢厤，不及天時，因更推步弦望朔晦為太和厤。帝以隆學問優深，天文又精，乃詔史隆與尚書郎楊偉、太史待詔駱祿參其推校。偉、隆是太史，隆故據舊厤更相，劾奏紛紜。數歲，偉稱祿得日蝕而月晦不盡。隆不得日蝕而月晦盡，詔從太史隆所爭雖不得，而遠近猶知其精也。

乾象法以五百八十九之百四十五為斗分。黃初以四千八百八十三之千二百五十為斗分。景初以千八百四十三之四百五十五為斗分。
