法華寺碑，世稱孤本。道光初，先仲兄景喬先生從勞文毅公許借得一本示余，葢賀耦耕尙書所藏者，愛玩不置。未久，勞復索還。
光緒三年，余持節酒泉，督諸軍平西域，疏勒旣定，餘威仍震。王霞軒觀察贈我是本，屬從事李佐興鉤泐諸木，以廣流傳。溯自創見至今，葢五十又四年矣。頭白臨邊，追維曩昔，髣髴長沙夜讀時也。刻成，拓一本貽霞軒，幷原拓還之。識此。
