先是，瀧嗣彙二曲夫子生平講學明道之書及他論著為全集，司冠鄭山公先生倡，學憲高嵩侶先生相與協杵傳布。工竣後，獲睹是編，丁寧罷嗣曰：「此真救時良劑，輔世長民者之指南也。吾子叨第，將有民社之責，不可不奉以從事。」瀧嗣藏之中心，方圖蒞任時壽諸棗梨，乃武功倪明府業已剞劂矣。蓋明府舊識夫子於東林書院，至是代理盩篆他務，未遑竭誠造謁，退而亟詢未梓之書；得之，遂捐俸镘布，以廣其傳。嗟乎！今之茂宰簿書，期會之是理，已稱能吏，而明府獨倦倦留意於前哲循良之跡，不惜捐貲岡世。賈子曰：「移風易俗，使天下同心而向道，類非俗吏之所能為也。」明府雅尚注厝如是，則其所以治武功者可知。宜乎邇來士林評吏治者，膾炙明府良法美意，不啻自其口出也。囂嗣既愧不能如明府好善之勇；而復喜覯政崇風教之大，君子於茲日奚翅空谷聞足音，而景星鄉雲之獲睹為快也。遂忘其固陋，恭題數語於簡湍，旌明府以志吾過焉。
