Punctuation options
大夫、士出入君門，由闑右，不踐閾。
「門」，門橛也。門以向堂爲正。「闑右」，東也。賓客入門而左，臣不敢當賓禮，入門而右，示從君也。「閾」，門限也。闑在門中，閾倚之，車行則去閾。「踐閾」，踐閾際也。言「士」、「大夫」者，上統卿，侯國之卿亦上大夫耳。
右第十四章。此章因上章入門升堂之文而廣記之。少者入長者之門，亦不敢當賓而由右。凡若此類，皆可推而通之也。
