唁陳名山喪母
（慰喪母並答謀事）西風落葉，正念故人。忽素簡遠來，驚知伯母大人仙逝，殊深感悼！
吾兄孝思純篤，必以乍違色養，爲百身莫贖之愆。然伯母音容雖邈，懿範猶存；况乎生盡其歡，沒盡其禮，於子職無少缺憾，亦可稍釋皋魚之痛矣。
弟以關河修阻，未獲親奉芻香，薄具楮儀，聊申奠醊，不足當徐生一束也。
九峯綜理元城幕務，十年淬礪，穎脫一朝，以兄至戚投之，諒無不允。如弟碌碌，恐難恃爲聲援耳。
