因人碌碌，浪走風塵；昨自潞河回郡，承示大作：詩追元白之神，賦擷徐庾之藻；雅人深致，仙吏風流，閣下兼而有之，心折殊難名狀！
茲舍親寄銷湖穎數百管，試之尚屬精良。因思用必歸於適宜，物必投於相賞，閣下公餘嘯咏，珠玉滿懷，非有五色麟毫，不足以助清興。用敢寄奉珊架，內三錢者六十管，二錢者二十管；倘蒙照數存銷，非惟誌愛屋烏，亦爲管城子慶得所矣。
