夙欽繡虎，雅慕登龍；分隔雲泥，音疏鶬鯉。昨勞軒駕，未能擁篲以迎；再謁門牆，不克摳衣而見。雖阻瞻韓之願，彌殷慕藺之誠。欣惟先生德望日隆，謙懷倍抑；愛才若命，舉善從長。自昔汝南，擅品題於月旦；卽今冀北，重聲價於驪黃。故皆引領高山，而欲見知流水也。
弟自惟陋質，久棄荒陬，素無王吉之交，彈冠罔慶；終鮮孔融之薦，懷刺靡投。倘九萬青雲，許層梯而可附，則三千東海，登彼岸以匪遙矣。
