（告接眷後窘狀）日以綢繆家室，未雨勞心。來書謂我籌計裕如，此猶岸畔閒人，看春水行船，如坐天上；而抑知舟中人之支持甚苦也。蝸居雖已成交，大半貸諸戚友。牽蘿補屋，殊費周章。且白米紅鹽，一無籌備。當此山窮水盡，不禁壯士牀頭之慨。幸居停爲我代謀，少可展布；否則幾類羝羊矣。
五嫂臨月，定育長庚。弟雖遠隔數程，未獲聽啼聲於小鳳，而素知積善，要可卜充閭於祥麟也。
