（辭館另就）湄以菲材，濫分蓮實，承閣下垂青格外，禮遇有加。年來頻叨惠於西江，每滋慚於南郭，感情矢報，日切於中。祗以聚散靡常，又作移巢之燕，捲簾人遠，能不依依？而揆諸進退之機，實有不當戀棧者，此意惟閣下爲能相諒耳。臨行走別，適值公冗，縷縷寸似，未能面謝。茲於十二日到館，側身西望，渺隔雲天，惟日祝閣下鳧舄高騫，鴛階疊晉。則雖暫違琴閣，而廣廈之庇，正自無窮也。
