（謝賀母壽並約同行赴省）得報書，知前寄湖穎，已荷存銷。知己相關，有求必應，令人感泐無似！
家慈之壽，以弟依人碌碌，不克稍博顯揚，爲寸草春暉之報。乃荷吉詞遠賁，且感且慙。茲擬月初晉省，如足下有事會垣，可於中途連靮；若效巨卿之登堂拜母，則不敢請也。
