（羨其遭遇之佳並告得子）巧日得手書，乃六月初二日發者。詢之典籤，始知夾入故紙中，已非一日。雖遲之又久，猶幸其不作洪喬也。
六兄品純學粹，當道傾心，自應有此遭際。而賓榻有紅蕖之艷，朋簪聯舊雨之歡，此又瀕海故人，所聞而欽羨者也。
日來一雨成秋，客緒自多佳勝。弟置身荒僻，伏櫪如常。前月幸舉一丁，差強人意耳。
