（羨其兄弟共事並告得子）去冬攜硯入省，久不通尺素於左右。望日得所惠書，感承存注，轉益歉懷。
令弟閱歷有年，正可及鋒而試，招之使往，不特紅開王儉之帷，亦且綠暖姜肱之被。從此停雲在望，令人遙企二難，倍殷馳溯矣。
弟以眷累，頗形襟肘。閏六月間，內人幸舉一子，他日剪燈促膝時，或能攜梨棗而牽長者之裾，當亦同爲欣慰者耳。
