東南半壁，爲通漕利民計，莫如治河。聖天子宵旰勤求，出千百萬金錢，延攬羣英，詔使疏鑿，足下乘時而起，挾其所長，以宣勞於虹堤鳧堰之間，計日瓠子功成，桃花浪息，朝廷策勳行賞，定自加人一等。竊念處三千之列，而其才其略，可以脫穎而出者，非足下而誰？落拓如弟，聞之不勝愉快！將來錦韉北上，以一笠拜故人於馬前，尚肯追念舊遊，不惜朝鞭一繞，同醉峭㞩亭下否？
