  澉浦舊屬㑹稽元和郡志云禹貢揚州之地周時呉泰伯置城為越所并漢順帝
永建四年
陽羨令周喜上書遂分浙江東為會稽郡西為吳郡輿地廣記云秦置海鹽縣屬會稽郡吳越時分境於檇李檇李今屬嘉興縣界以此考之澉浦乃古越地石晉時吳越錢氏奏置秀州始隨分隸又水經云東南有秦望山傍有谷水流出為澉浦秦望山在㑹稽及鮑郎塲十竈九在秀而一在越是知澉浦古𨽻紹興而今𨽻嘉興
