東陵經禧律再上去，妓寮林立，是皇軍慰安之所，尋歡者絡繹於途，往來者盡軍服革履，平常人不能問津也。妓院中各種民族都有，由本地之娼妓，遠至中國廣州、香港拉來之良家婦女。其中最特色者為某日人經營之東洋藝伎，是由東京帝都運來，專以安慰皇軍高級軍官。主人原為東京律師，因此種生意大可獲利，遂買許多粉頭南來。
有人詢以何故營此醜業？律師笑稱，生意無分榮辱，利之所在，人爭趨之。戰時此種生意，獲利最厚，後聞此主人經營不上一年，盈利已數百萬矣。
