堂之東，有小丘，其始棄地也。孟夏之初，課隷人刜奧草，去朽枿，作小臺于櫻桃樹下。其大受牀，其高及堂。旣成，戴小烏巾，手執唐人詩一卷，偃仰乎其上。鳥聲花影，不違酒壺茶鼎之內。余始而適，中而失其所以適，終而未嘗適也，未嘗不適也，或言必有脩簷廣宇而後，可以游息者，余不信焉。
