年年伐木在山谷，借問伐木何所用。
長安城中起樓閣，樓閣連雲山木盡。
官家催促無虛日，城南昨夜飛雨滑。
陌上春泥深沒膝，竟日十步五步間。
「牛飢無草兒不食，兒不食尙可，牛飢恐失足。」驅車兒兒有辭，傍人問之亦悽惻。
兒驅牛牛駕車，牛蹄趵趵車轆轆。
轆轆趵趵十餘歲，兒身無子牛無犢。
一朝牛斃兒亦死，官家何處施鞭朴。
願將此意叫天閽，及時下令除苦役。
兒但與牛相對眠，日長村巷桑麻綠。
