極（Hardcore）者，礦藝諸法之一，生之變也。戲者一生於難世，死而不可復生也。
機制
創世之時，戲者可擇極為其戲法。惟極者實為生界機制之一，有別於生、創等者而具其獨制。創極之戲者，其法固於生，難易固於難，亦無舞弊、獎箱之助。眾戲者皆於是。
極之戲者，其命數之示増現兇目（，本為），以告戲者存亡之危。生界選單中，極者亦有一赤字「極」以記之。
極之異者，在於亡時。戲者一亡，為之戲終。嘗復生者，則當為覽，不問於世。
