阿訇楊振峰等驅車二五國道。及唐山榷卡，以故與執役者釁傷。警巡來，載阿訇至醫館
。是夕，有穆民集數十人，強拆榷卡及公廨。防暴警卒至，穆民罵曰：「跪下！」爭不止。翌日，又百餘人集唐山開平區政府為亂，外省聞訊來附者益眾。九月三日夜，唐山政府咎謝，斥人民幣四百萬，劃地建回廟償之。即監謗，以「唐山收費站」（收費站即榷卡）、「唐山阿訇」等為禁語。國人多怨之，凡言唐山者必及此，遂有唐山要盟之謔焉。
