Punctuation options
七出三不去，婚姻之法也，殆始於周，廢於民國初。
夫七出者，休妻之條也：
一曰無子，此條須待女子七七天癸竭，而夫猶無庶子，方可為之；
二曰淫
；
三曰不順父母
；
四曰口多言
；
五曰盜竊
；
六曰妒忌
；
七曰惡疾
。
而三不去者，不可休之情也：
一曰有所取無所歸，其父家無養，休則無以棲身之謂也；
二曰與更三年喪，謂遵禮為舅姑守制滿三年者；
三曰前貧賤後富貴，歸家時貧賤，而富貴時休髮妻，有失倫常，故有此款也。
別有義絕，蓋倘有殺彼家長幼之為者，其恩義已絕，有司可直判各散，而不囿於前述之律。
評
周典云：「出禮入刑」，是故婚姻諸條，皆從禮法，違禮則出，合禮則納。七出之條，後世常詬之，其實不省可利乎當時之世也。
