泰國之常習，每週七日，一日一色，總計七種色也。傳印度神話，
阿瑜陀耶時始有此習。
扎克里王朝初，王室者、上流亦着星期色其衣，至更為君主立憲制後，以西服之行，此俗稍淡化。
七日七色，可以生辰之星期屬代表色，如拉瑪九世、十世王之色為黃
（星期一生），
五世王之色為粉
（星期二生）、詩麗吉王后之色為藍
（星期五生）、詩琳通公主之色為紫
（星期六生）。
泰國之外，亦有一週七日七色也，而色不定。亦有以虹
之光譜次第，表七日之色者，如台北一一大樓點燈之儀。
