諸葛瞻又輕壽。壽為亮立傳，謂亮將略非長，無應敵之才，言瞻惟工書，名過其實。議者以此少之。

晉尚書郎范頵曰：「陳壽作《三國志》，辭多勸誡，朋乎得失，有益風化，雖文艷不若相如，而質直過之，願垂采錄。」
