不寐者，
夜
不能寐也。俗呼失眠，今人苦之者眾矣。
蓋天有陰陽，晝為陽、夜為陰。人應之，則日
出而作、日入而息。今人多晝逸夜勞，則陰陽不判，故晝當陽動之時而有陰象，昏昏欲睡，夜乃安寢良辰而輾轉不寐。此失天道者也。又有傷寒傳至陽明，胃不和則夜不安者也。或陰寒直入於裏，在裏化熱而致，此多因今人嗜食冰物而然。或欲求無已，心火妄動，不安亦不寐也；或坎離不濟者亦有之。
