佛曆二三一八年，時暹羅與緬甸數戰，乃克儂東亦入暹羅軍，緬師克大城，虜之，係於緬甸。緬王猛拉於
仰光以
大佛塔加頂，行宴。緬人亦善拳，遂使御前較技；竟連克緬九人，使緬王歎曰：「暹羅拳師武奇，以夫之勇，竟破九人。至十人莫敢與之敵，苟非其君庸弱，彼輩當免喪邦之痛。」其後，即以乃克儂東為泰拳之宗也。
