唐武宗，諱炎，原名李瀍，
唐穆宗第五子。
封潁王，文宗得疾大漸，
仇士良矯詔廢太子，立李瀍為皇太弟。李瀍即位後，籍士良家。武宗用李德裕為相，抑制宦官，平定澤潞藩鎮，討伐回鶻之亂，滅佛興道。在位六年崩，廟號武宗。
