湯圓，一曰湯糰
。北人謂之曰元宵，以上元之夕必食之也。然實常年有之。屑米為粉以製之。粉入水，沈澱之使滑而製成者，為掛粉湯圓，有甜鹹各餡。亦有無餡者，曰實心湯圓。
