火山者，乃地中之火，由此發竅而出之路也。其穴口所吐者，並有浮石溫石等隨火發出，上為黑煙，灰燼渣滓騰空如濃雲，俯不見日。其火山高低不等，其低者則火由穴口發出，高者則山旁綻裂，火由縫出。其山中噴出之石灰漿水等則低者常多，高者常罕。
