《漢書·王莽傳》:「王莽事將敗，悉不下飯，唯飲酒，啖鰒魚。」《全上古三代秦漢三國六朝文》卷一五《請祭先王表》：「先主喜食鰒魚，前已表徐州臧霸送鰒魚二百」，依此，
曹操喜食鰒魚。
