頃因行李，承足下高問，延佇之勞，為日久矣。王途一啟，得叙其懷，欣於相遇，情無有已，足下兼愛為心，每能存顧，養之以風味，惠之以德音，執翫反覆，銘於心抱，吾少乏尋常之操，長無老成之致，憑賴賢勝，以自克勉，而來喻褒飾，有過其分，既承雅贈，即應有答，但唱高則難和，理深則難詶，所以留連日月，以至於今。今往詩一篇，誠不足標明來旨，且表以心，幸恕鄙滯，領其至意。
