覽詩人之比興，寄卉木以命辭，惟平章之萱草，欲忘憂而樹之，爰有幽憂，庭閑志靜，高木列其陰，蘭芳糅其影，翫叢蘤之爭芬，悅羣根之競穎，或開紅而散紫，或𦯀蒀於上春，信茲華之獨秀，投金質於炎辰，既耀色以祛痗，亦含香而可均，不待合歡之木，無俟孫枝之筠，同芰荷於闌暑，及蟬露乎首旻，其葉四垂，其跗六出，亦曰宜男，加名斯吉，華而不艷，雅而不質，隨晦明而舒捲，與風霜而榮悴，笑杜蘅與揭車，何眾𢑥之能匹。
