書之妙道，神采為上，形質次之，兼之者方可紹於古人。以斯言之，豈易多得？必使心忘於筆，手忘於書，心手達情，書不忘想，是謂求之不得，考之即彰。乃為《筆意贊》曰：
剡紙易墨，心圓管直。漿深色濃，萬毫齊力。先臨《告誓》，次寫《黃庭》。骨豐肉潤，人妙通靈。努如植槊，勒若橫釘。開張風翼，聳擢芝英。粗不為重，細不為輕。纖微向背，毫髮死生。工之盡矣，可擅時名。
