有門人斃一野鶩，因以為獻。予時命以登俎，用待賔客，客有愛其羽毛，請予為賦。其詞曰：
夫何羅人之伎巧，薦江海之逸禽，落摩天之迅羽，絕歸飛之好音。碎文錦之丹臆，裂雕綺之翠襟。孤雛驚以靡翼，饑雌呌而莫尋，越滄流以遠致，乃交畱以兼金。同閽寺以傳請，排邃戶以重深。貴敷衽以取愛，願登俎以甘心。
