The term “duo ya 多亞” frequently occurs in the king’s divi- nations and 亞, in addition to it being used as a rank, seems to also mean either an ancestor’s shrine (Huang Tianshu 2006: 84) or a niche for worship in an enclosed ritual space (=阿); see HJ 30297.
