自中原板蕩，夷狄交侵。余發憤河朔，起自相臺，總髮從軍，歷二百餘戰，雖未能遠入荒夷、洗蕩巢穴，亦且快國仇之萬一。今又提一旅孤軍，振起宜興，建康之役，一鼓敗虜，恨未能使匹馬不回耳。故且養兵休卒，蓄銳待敵。嗣當激勵士卒，功期再戰，北逾沙漠，喋血虜廷，盡屠夷種。迎二聖歸京闕，取故地上版圖，朝廷無虞，主上奠枕，余之願也。
