禀二儀之純靈，膺造化之冲氣。文為辭宗，行作世表，遷黄門侍郎，受祕書監。公筭滅吳之略，以為孟獻營虎牢而鄭人懼，晏弱城東陽而萊子服。乃進據險處，開建五城，收膏腴之地，奪敵人之資。於是江浦馳義，襁負而至，雖研精軍政，用思滅敵，然兼立學校，闡揚典訓。是以縉紳之士，鱗集仰化，雲翔衡門，雖泮宫之詠魯侯，菁莪之美育才，無以過也。銘曰： 金徳發矅，惟公作輔。肇造嘉謨，建我民主。不 遺公，俾屏聖皇。哲人其徂，孰不増傷？
