蓋聞繁弱登禦，然後高墉之功顯；孤竹在肆，然後降神之曲成。是以高世之主，必假遠邇之器；蘊匱之才，思托大音之和。伏見處士廣陵戴若思，年三十，清沖履道，德量允塞。思理足以研幽，才鑒足以辨物。安窮樂志，無風塵之慕；砥節立行，有井渫之潔。誠東南之遺寶，宰朝之奇璞也。若得托跡康衢，則能結軌驥騄；曜質廊廟，必能垂光璵璠矣。惟明公垂神采察，不使忠允之言，以人而廢。
