伊善惡之所施，乃禍福之爲階。行德安而保身，忘爲害而自危。故先民之有作，執溫恭而不虧。云顏冉之遭命，恠禍福之參差。夫二賢之履道，歷千載而見知。身既沒而名存，厥復戚乎何爲？夫死生之有命，非神明之所規。故積善之家，厥福惟昌；積惡之門，必有餘殃。是以趙武好善，厥胤以長；三郄好勝，厥身以亡。古人從善如不及，去惡如探湯，恐福德而難值，而禍惡之易當。
