單窺筒
窺遠鏡者，又稱望遠鏡，所以窺遠之器也。
淸
人謂之「千里眼」。其形如筒，兩端各嵌透鏡。
蓋鏡有凹凸，能縮地而聚光。故持之而望，則萬里之遙，恍如目前；九天之高，可察星
文
。軍旅用之，可以瞭望敵情；
舟子用之，可以遠觀島嶼
。其制不一，而用甚廣。
