竭澤而漁，語出《
呂氏春秋
·義賞》，曰：「竭澤而漁，豈不獲得，而明年無魚。」此漁必有度之謂。漁而有度，則萬類孳育，食貨不竭。竭澤而漁，致其繁衍不佳，則必損害土宜。
辨名
漢地亦謂之過度捕魚
。
日人謂之濫獲
。
竭澤而漁一文似未成。宜善
之。
