四一年歸國，乃業翻譯，事教育。歷任職於雲南民族學院、
雲南文聯、
人民文學出版社
。納訓自阿拉伯原文譯《
一千零一夜
》，而中國莫之先。所譯《一千零一夜》三卷本，以五七年由人民文學出版社刊行。後數十年，增訂不輟。
八二年至
八四年，刊行六卷本。
八九年十二月二十七日歿。
