牛頓力學者，蓋宏觀低速物體之理。經典力學有二假定也，一曰時空恆定，二曰量皆可測入極微。
基本定律
牛頓定律之一曰凡萬物皆亦持直動亦靜止，至外力使之變。
牛頓定律之二曰萬物之加速度正比於所受之合力而反比於質量，加速方向亦與力同向。
牛頓定律之三曰萬物所受作用力皆有反作用力，且二者大小相等，方向相反。
萬有引力定律曰萬物凡有質量者，皆以力相吸。其為力，兩者質量之積大而益大，然兩者距離之平方大而益小也。
