羅素之壺周日而行，在坤輿、熒惑之間，惟不能察其實在。

熒惑之間。詳之，其形小甚，縱極目而不能察，則此說無可證偽也。假令此壺載於典籍，充以教化，弘之四宇，疑壺者反狂矣。
教眾不欲疑者疑其神，毀以不能證神。謂神既不顯，則不可疑之。此論於羅素則謬甚，夫神之不顯，猶茶壺之周日，既無對證，可信壺耶？
