Punctuation options
羅隆基，字努生，江西安福人。少懷壯志，負笈清華，後遊學美英，獲倫敦政經學院政治學博士。歸國後執教復旦、南開，倡言憲政，筆鋒銳利，主編《新月》，抨擊時弊。抗戰時，組中國民主同盟，力主民主抗敵，聲聞海內。國共內戰間，奔走調停，然終難挽狂瀾。新政既立，任政務委員、森林工業部長等職。然五七反右禍起，以「章羅同盟」獲罪，身陷囹圄，鬱鬱而終。其人才高性傲，毀譽參半，然倡自由、爭民權之志，終不泯於史冊。
