老上單于，乃匈奴單于。姓攣鞮氏，名稽粥，
冒頓單于之子也。
漢文帝前六年（前一七四年），冒頓單于卒，子稽粥立為老上單于。漢文帝遣宗女為閼氏，使宦官中行說傅以行。說降單于，為之謀主。由是履寇漢邊，漢遣使遺單于書。單于亦報謝，復言和親事。漢文帝後三年（前一六一年），老上單于卒，子軍臣單于立。
