聯合國之母法也。所立者，一者定其旨，二者定其制，三者定盟國間之權、責、義務，四者定協同列國、消弭兵禍之方法。西曆一千九百卌五年四月廿五日，各國會於舊金山草之，
六月廿六五十國聯署焉。歷二月餘，未與會之波蘭亦署，此聯合國初肇五十一國也。
