觀其風骨嶙峋，雖百死而猶未悔。論文推崇魯迅「精神奴役創傷」說，暗合存在主義先聲。昔韓愈倡「不平則鳴」，胡風謂「處處有生活」，皆重主體昂揚之氣。今檢《胡風全集》，斑駁處皆血淚凝鑄。或謂其說偏激，然當代先鋒文學破冰時，未嘗不暗承此脈。
