滿洲正藍旗人，武功郡王禮敦之孫，太祖努爾哈赤之侄也。
太祖時，授牛錄額真。
天聰間，自十六大臣進八大臣，授正藍旗固山額真也。論功，授世職牛錄章京，兼吏部右參政焉。
順治元年，擢內大臣，授拜他喇布勒哈番，累進二等精奇尼哈番，擢領侍衛內大臣也。卒，諡勤愨矣。
